Individual volunteers interested in farm tasks (mostly weeding, non-native plant removal, and harvest) are welcome Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30am-1pm, Nov. 5 through June 20. We will not host volunteers on the following Tuesdays and Fridays: Nov. 26 + 29, Dec. 20, 24, 27 + 31, Jan 3.
Individual volunteers are also welcome on the following Saturdays from 9am-noon: Oct. 12, Nov.9, Dec. 7, Jan 11, Feb. 15, March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14.
Just show up at the farm with good shoes, water bottle, and ready to sign liability waiver.
We host volunteer groups ages 18 and above from universities, businesses and faith-based organizations. For groups with individuals under age 18 consider participating in a Field Trip. For adult groups interested in learning about the farm but may not have the time our interest in doing volunteer work, consider a Learning Tour. Group volunteer work usually consists of 3 to 6 hours of hand weeding, non-native plant removal, and/or harvest. A $7 per person donation is requested to help cover farm supplies and staffing expenses.
If interested in scheduling a group volunteer visit, email Farm Manager Leo Gorman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
